I don't live in Florida so I had never heard of this place. There's a reason why it's so popular. The food is amazing. If you need somewhere casual to eat and you don't know where to go, go to Sonny's!
We were visiting a friend in this area and saw that there was a Sonny's BBQ nearby, so we decided to stop in for dinner. The staff were friendly, very helpful, and were able to seat us and take our food and drink orders quickly. This must be a local community gathering area as many of the customers seemed to know each other. This added to the friendly atmosphere there. They have a full bar and several TVs throughout the establishment . Sonny's is one of our favorite BBQ places to eat, and this location did not disappoint us with the food served. We will have to visit again the next time we are in the area.
Awesome service, & they gave a discount for my husbands birthday. The food is always exceptional & big portions. Its a very clean establishment. Highly recommend. I love their salads and fried okra. They have a very reasonable dinner plate that wil satisfy even a big appetite. They offer corn bread instead of garlic bread thats not on the menu but is delicious!
Good place, good food exceptional service! My family and I had a wonderful time eating the loaded baked potatoes here. Nena was our server she was extremely kind and attentive.
The BBQ was on point!! The tatortots , amazing, crisp ,warm , perfect! The fries that i added onto my pulled pork sandwich were cold and mushy , not crunchy at all , so I didn't eat any of them. We would definitely go back again. I just won't order fries next time.
The candy bacon grilled chicken sandwich and the golden BBQ chicken tenders sandwich are amazing and a must try! Service was great!
Always friendly service and good portions. The salad tadted amazing with shredded pork served as a huge portion. The fried okra is so good here! The establishment is always clean and the atmosphere is nice with updated decor.
Due to work and traffic I missed lunch and regular dinner time. Was looking for a place to eat and after a typical Florida downpour a huge rainbow came out and pointed me directly at Sonny's. I had the smoked wings with dry rub and they were delicious, but I didn't know if they were amazing because I was starving or because they were that good. Went back today to test the theory and they were just as amazing the second time. Went back a third time to buy the dryrub since I'm not from around here. Pro-tip: you can't pickup your order ahead of schedule if you use their website, so set it for a little before the earliest you can get their otherwise you might have to wait until your time.
